Ok now I am getting upset

Today President Bush issued a threat to veto any legislation that stands against the UAE port deal. If that were not bad enough, that warrior against terror, that destroyer of Islamo-Facism went on to imply that to oppose this deal would be disriminatory. Of all the ignorrant, untrue, self-righteous statements he could have made... Well don't take my word for it, listen to him, "I want those who are questioning it to step up and explain why all of a sudden a Middle Eastern company is held to a different standard than a Great British company."
All of the sudden? I mean is he freakin' serious?? That sounds more like a statement Ted Kennedy would make. Sorry George, but DUH! I feel silly even having to say this, the UAE was linked in significant ways to the attacks on 9/11, from their state run banks laundering terrorist money, to their being a zone of safe passage for 9/11 terrorists between the Arab world and the west, and there is more. But that alone should at the very least give him tremendous pause for thought and have him encouraging congress to do an investigation. I mean has he forgotten the China/Unocal fiasco, tell me how this is different? Congress Rejected it then and they should reject this now. Dam I'm glad we live in a Federalist/Democracy!
