Absolutely NO!!!

I can't believe I am going to say this but I actualy agree with Harry Reid today. I am posting to further awareness of a proposed sale of rights to major US ports to the UAE/Dubai. I am a bit new to this story but Michelle Malkin has a great write up here and Fox news also did a piece on it last night here . The jist is that this deal would give a major corporation based in a semi-hostile country that we do not know for sure is our ally, control over major US shipping ports. There must be some heavy duty money and/or politicing going on here for this to have even gotten this far. I stand however with all of those who oppose this deal and believe it would be suicidal, not to mention monumentally stupid to let this deal go through. Obvious reasons being that some islamist countries/entities are actively seeking the means to deliver a dirty/nuclear device via some mode othe than an ICBM. Giving a country that harbors terrorists the ability to control what goes in or out of major US shipping ports would be inviting such a bomb into the country on a red carpet. Support your senators efforts and get the word out to whoever will isten. This cannot stand!!

Oh and the even more apalling thing about this is that the Bush Administration, our champion against terror, supports this deal
