Ann's Corner

It's that time again... Here is Ann on The Duke Rape Case

"Liberal professors believe that crying wolf is valuable for calling attention to the societal problem of wolves, even though there's never a wolf in any particular case. Evidently, awareness of an alleged societal ill — of which we have no actual examples — is worth ruining the lives of three innocent people. After all, they're just powerful white men. At the next White Males of Privilege meeting, someone ought to bring up how they can use their vast power to win the right not to be put on trial for crimes they didn't commit."

Beck's is Gonna Be a Galaxian

David Beckham signs 5 years deal with L.A. Galaxy

So if you thought the hype over Freddy Adu was bad a couple of years ago, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Take a look at this drooling, slobbery letter that Galaxy fans got this morning:

Having been Captain of the English soccer team and the driving force behind two of the world's best and most popular soccer clubs, Manchester United and Real Madrid, Beckham's latest chapter of his superstar career will see him joining one of MLS's most successful franchises. "David Beckham will have a greater impact on soccer in America than any athlete has ever had on a sport globally," said Timothy J. Leiweke, president & CEO, AEG. "We are acquiring an individual that will not only be the best ambassador and the best role model for athletes and fans of soccer but the best example of what any athlete can and should be. David is truly the only individual that can build the 'bridge' between soccer in America and the rest of the world," added Leiweke. "In addition to David's tremendous desire to further elevate the sport of soccer in the United States and worldwide, we would also not be here today without the unbelievable cooperation of the members of his management team beginning with Simon Fuller," Leiweke continued. "We owe you all a debt of gratitude and appreciation and give you our commitment that we will support you as you support us every step of the way." "This historic partnership with 19 Entertainment and CAA Sports will also create tremendous and exciting new opportunities for us to collectively develop additional worldwide initiatives," Leiweke continued. "The synergies created with 19 Entertainment, the worldwide leaders in branding and imaging along with CAA Sports, the premier sports representation agency will result in numerous new and profitable ventures."

Were Shots Fired?

Gaurdsmen Overrun At The Border

News Report Video

This story caught my eye for two reasons. #1 The fact that a National Gaurd Unit was over run and #2 The fact that it is unclear whether our soldiers were allowed to return fire. The way I understand the gaurd's mission is that they are to "observe and support the border patrol" in a nut shell. But what is the directive if they are fired apon? I mean lets think about this for a moment. At what other point in our history have we ever allowed our border and/or our military to be fired on without it being an international incident, decleration of war, etc... This is not Jose and his family with a handgun trying to sneak accross the border for a better life, these are armed drug militias, sometimes aided by corrupt federalies and soldiers infiltrating our southern borders.

The article says, "The Border Patrol will not say whether shots were fired". They mean shots fired by us, and as a citizen of this country I want to know that my military is authorized to do whatever is needed to repel any such attack. If not, why not.

The article also says the shooters retreated back into Mexico which says to me that they are probing our defenses, trying to see whether or not we shoot back, etc... trying to figure out whether our military at the border is really just for show, or whether we will actually use them to protect and defend our borders. Thusly the question for me is no longer how many troops are there, but what the mission parameters are of the ones who have been sent.

Uncle Tim's Presents Ann's Corner

This new offering will feature pearls of wisdom by liberal slayer Ann Coulter. Each week I will choose from Ann's weekly column, what I consider her best quote. Her current article will also be linked below. So without further delay...

"Fortunately for liberals, the Iraqis executed Saddam Hussein the exact same week that former President Ford died, so it didn't seem strange that Nancy Pelosi's flag was at half-staff. Also, Saddam's death made it less of a snub when Harry Reid skipped Ford's funeral."

Ann's Column

"I am The Most Powerful Woman In America"

Gosh Nancy, wouldn't want you to get a big head or anything! I mean really, don't hold back, tell us how you really feel! That woman scares the crap out of me! World's Oldest Person Dies at 116

Not so amazing by biblical standards where we see men and women living well into there 100's, but certainly a rarity in todays world. The part that made me smile about this story was the number of offspring that came from this one woman. Please read...

"Family members said this year that Bolden had 40 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 150 great-great-grandchildren, 220 great-great-great grandchildren and 75 great-great-great-great grandchildren."

Her name was Elizabeth (Lizzie) Bolden

Another Sad Day For USA Soccer

What an utter tragedy! Un-Bloody-Believable!! The USSF just screwed the pooch big time by allowing this coach to get away. My feeling is that this was about power in the end and the USSF was too stuborn and too arrogant to realize that they ARE in a state of affairs that warrants drastic measures. yes, I mean real drastic. It has long been time for the structure of American soccer to change and they had the perfect man to bring that change right on the end of the hook, and they blew it. Down with Sunhil, down with USSF. I am depressed!!

From Fox Soccer.com

By Not Moving Forward US Goes Backward

Klinsman Bows Out Of Coaching Race

Stunning change of mind for Klinsmann

This is a stunning reversal after a week in which multiple, high-placed sources — including players on the national team — informed both Fox and media outlets in Germany that Klinsmann would be named the next coach.

Tonight, there is confusion among soccer business people who for months had not only predicted but expected that the German former World Cup winner would take the reins of a program badly in need of credibility after a dismal showing at the 2006 World Cup.

Calls to Klinsmann's business partner and representative, Warren Merserau, were not immediately returned.

According to several sources, U.S. Soccer had made Klinsmann a firm financial offer, said to be in the range of $1.85 million and that Klinsmann had accepted it. In addition, to avoid conflict between Nike — a major national team sponsor — and his longtime partner, adidas, Klinsmann had decided to step away from that commitment in accepting the USA job.

Have an opinion for Trecker?
Jamie Trecker's Soccer Blog

But there had always been the question of whether or not Klinsmann would accept the culture of U.S. Soccer. Power, and the sharing of it, was said to be a consistent theme in the talks and it could be that despite agreeing in principle, the two parties could not settle on an agreement that would give Klinsmann the autonomy he desired.

This is not the first time that a major candidate courted by the U.S. Soccer Federation has walked away from the table.

Jürgen Klinsmann's journey

In 1995, Carlos Queiroz — today the assistant coach at Manchester United — angrily and publicly withdrew his name for the position after being kept waiting for several months. During the interim, which ranged from April of that year until August, U.S. Soccer had put Querioz and his assistant Dan Gaspar on their payroll, ostensibly to prepare a report on meeting U.S. Soccer's stated goals by the year 2010.

Queiroz' withdrawal has eerie echoes of today's if proved correct — Queiroz sent an email to a USA Today reporter to announce his withdrawal, humiliating the organization.

It is unclear what next step U.S. Soccer will take at this hour.

UPDATE 12/12/06: Loser decides not to file suit in Seattle Christmas Trees Being Returned

Sea-Tac Airpot in Seattle removed all of their Christmas Trees in response to a threat from a Jewish Rabbi who wanted an 8 foot menorah put up "or else".

I am so sick and tired of this whole "If you offend me I'll sue" mentality. Again, as I have said in earlier posts, is it a wonder our enemies laugh at us? I am not even taking the Christian position here people. I am just taking the rational, don't be an idiot position. Honestly if you are not able to walk through an airport and look at some Christmas trees, then you have much larger problems than being offended. If you are not able to deduce that Christmas Trees are a world wide tradition this time of year and have no religous significance, then you need to go back to school. Finally, it is not the principle of the thing, because there is NO thing. This is just plain Stupid!!!

Jane Harman He's Not!

UPDATE: Happy 2nd B-Day to Wuzzadem. They hit it on the nose as usual.
Pelosi Hosts National Security Jepardy
__________________________________
I read an article today that made me sad, but did not shock me. According to CQ editor Jeff Stein, our new incoming head of the intelligence committee does not know the difference between Sunni and Shia Muslims, something that Jane Harman for all of her liberal faults certainly did. I happened to have had first hand experience with her that tells me so. No I do not know the senator personally, but I have heard her speak on intelligence, well...intelligently and it is a shame that Pelosi gave her the axe. She really seemed to know her stuff and to generally care about protecting our nation. Now I don't know much about Reyes, but if the guy didn't know that Al Quaeda (you know, the guys who drove airplanes into our buildings) was an all Sunni organization, much less understand why that was important to know, then I think there maybe a slight problem. Now the article also goes on to (big shocker) bash the Bush administration for essentially the same thing, but we are not talking about them right now. Think about this for a minute all of you who put the dems back in power. Nancy Pelosi replaced Jane Harman (a staunch democrat) who was probably the most knowledgeable IC Chair we've had in a couple of decades for what?? Give up? Well, the answer is that Nancy just didn't like Jane very much. Not for any good reason I can assure you. She probably wore the same prada bag at last years Senate Christmas party or something and refused to go home and change. Either way what we are stuck with in this and many other top committee positions in January are a bunch of Pelosi-ittes who may or may not be qualified for the posts they are being nominated to assume.

As this article rightly points out we do not have the luxury of mistaking Al Sadr for Al Sharpton at the highest levels of our government anymore. The situation is too dire and the consequences too grave.

Yer Frend, BiLLy

Dear Billy,
Nice spelling. You're on your way to a career in lawn care. How about I
send you a frigging book so you can learn to read and write? I'm giving
your older brother the space ranger. At least HE can spell!
Santa

joy in the world for everybody!
Love, Sarah

Dear Sarah,
Your parents smoked pot when they had you, didn't they?
Santa

Dear Santa,
I don't know if you can do this, but for Christmas, I'd like for my mommy
and daddy to get back together. Please see what you can do.
Love,
Teddy

Dear Teddy,
Look, your dad's banging the babysitter like a screen door in a hurricane.
Do you think he's gonna give that up to come back to your frigid, fat mom,
who rides his ass constantly? It's time to give up that dream. Let me get
you some nice Legos instead. Maybe you can build yourself a family with
those?
Santa

Dear Santa,
I want a new bike, a Playstation, a train, some G.I. Joes, a dog, a drum
kit, a pony and a tuba.
Love, Francis

What do you do the other 364 days of the year? Are you busy making toys?
Your friend, Thomas

Dear Thomas,
All the toys are made by little kids like you in China Every year I give
them a slice of bread as a Christmas bonus. I have a condo in Vegas, where
I spend most of my time making low-budget porno films. I unwind by drinking
myself silly and squeezing the asses of cocktail waitresses
while losing money at the craps table.
Santa

Dear Santa,
Do you see us when we're sleeping, do you really know when we're awake,
like in the song?
Love, Jessica

Dear Jessica,
Are you really that gullible? Good luck in whatever you do. I'm skipping
your house.
Santa

Dear Santa,
I really really want a puppy this year. Please please please PLEASE PLEASE
could I have one?
Timmy

Timmy,
That whiney begging bit may work with your folks, but that crap doesn't
work with me. You're getting an ugly sweater again.
Santa

Dearest Santa,
We don't have a chimney in our house, how do you get into our home?
Love, Marky

Mark,
First, stop calling yourself "Marky", that's why you're getting your ass
kicked at school. Second, you don't live in a house, you live in a
low-rent, ghetto apartment complex. Third, I get inside your pad just like
all the burglars do, through your bedroom window.
Sweet Dreams,
Santa

Pearl Harbor Remebered

Well here we are 60 years later. We have been through 3 more wars and a bunch of little conflicts but that stands as a testimony to the steel and resolve of Americans protecting their own. I found this article today that is totally relevant considering our seeming inability to find a set of nards with Iran. Read it, and remember our enemies are watching our every move. I wonder if the Iraq Study Group considered that when they were debating their 79 ways to retreat safely from Iraq, or when they were contemplating how much to charge for their new book...I mean "report" on the Iraq situation. To me it speaks volumes that they are going on tour and selling this "report". I wonder where the profits will go? To fund more body armor for our troops perhaps? Or maybe to secure our borders? Don't hold your breath...

Beware the sleeping giant?

Amen My Jewish Brotha'

Dennis Prager Speaks Truth To Power

I am going to post his entire article because I think it is that relevant. I have been posting the last few days about our percieved weakness in the eyes of Radical Islam and this speaks straight to the heart of it!

Keith Ellison, D-Minn., the first Muslim elected to the United States Congress, has announced that he will not take his oath of office on the Bible, but on the bible of Islam, the Koran.

He should not be allowed to do so -- not because of any American hostility to the Koran, but because the act undermines American civilization.

Forgive me, but America should not give a hoot what Keith Ellison's favorite book is. Insofar as a member of Congress taking an oath to serve America and uphold its values is concerned, America is interested in only one book, the Bible. If you are incapable of taking an oath on that book, don't serve in Congress. In your personal life, we will fight for your right to prefer any other book. We will even fight for your right to publish cartoons mocking our Bible. But, Mr. Ellison, America, not you, decides on what book its public servants take their oath.

First, it is an act of hubris that perfectly exemplifies multiculturalist activism -- my culture trumps America's culture. What Ellison and his Muslim and leftist supporters are saying is that it is of no consequence what America holds as its holiest book; all that matters is what any individual holds to be his holiest book.

Devotees of multiculturalism and political correctness who do not see how damaging to the fabric of American civilization it is to allow Ellison to choose his own book need only imagine a racist elected to Congress. Would they allow him to choose Hitler's "Mein Kampf," the Nazis' bible, for his oath? And if not, why not? On what grounds will those defending Ellison's right to choose his favorite book deny that same right to a racist who is elected to public office?

Of course, Ellison's defenders argue that Ellison is merely being honest; since he believes in the Koran and not in the Bible, he should be allowed, even encouraged, to put his hand on the book he believes in. But for all of American history, Jews elected to public office have taken their oath on the Bible, even though they do not believe in the New Testament, and the many secular elected officials have not believed in the Old Testament either. Yet those secular officials did not demand to take their oaths of office on, say, the collected works of Voltaire or on a volume of New York Times editorials, writings far more significant to some liberal members of Congress than the Bible. Nor has one Mormon official demanded to put his hand on the Book of Mormon. And it is hard to imagine a scientologist being allowed to take his oath of office on a copy of "Dianetics" by L. Ron Hubbard.

So why are we allowing Keith Ellison to do what no other member of Congress has ever done -- choose his own most revered book for his oath?

The answer is obvious -- Ellison is a Muslim. And whoever decides these matters, not to mention virtually every editorial page in America, is not going to offend a Muslim. In fact, many of these people argue it will be a good thing because Muslims around the world will see what an open society America is and how much Americans honor Muslims and the Koran.

This argument appeals to all those who believe that one of the greatest goals of America is to be loved by the world, and especially by Muslims because then fewer Muslims will hate us (and therefore fewer will bomb us).

But these naive people do not appreciate that America will not change the attitude of a single American-hating Muslim by allowing Ellison to substitute the Koran for the Bible. In fact, the opposite is more likely: Ellison's doing so will embolden Islamic extremists and make new ones, as Islamists, rightly or wrongly, see the first sign of the realization of their greatest goal -- the Islamicization of America.

When all elected officials take their oaths of office with their hands on the very same book, they all affirm that some unifying value system underlies American civilization. If Keith Ellison is allowed to change that, he will be doing more damage to the unity of America and to the value system that has formed this country than the terrorists of 9-11. It is hard to believe that this is the legacy most Muslim Americans want to bequeath to America. But if it is, it is not only Europe that is in trouble.

Finally A Nativity the Left Can Get Behind

Hat Tip STACLU for the link and the pic. Here is the Original Story as well:

The Young Conservatives of Texas - University of Texas Chapter announced today that they will be displaying an “ACLU Nativity Scene” on the West Mall of the University of Texas campus on Monday and Tuesday, December 4th and 5th.

The group’s intent is to raise awareness on the extremity of the ACLU, and bring to light its secular-progressive efforts to remove Christmas from the public sphere. The display, the first of its kind in the nation, will feature characters that are quite a bit different than the standard crèche.

“We’ve got Gary and Joseph instead of Mary and Joseph in order to symbolize ACLU support for homosexual marriage, and of course there isn’t a Jesus in the manger,” said Chairman Tony McDonald. “The three Wise Men are Lenin, Marx, and Stalin because the founders of the ACLU were strident supporters of Soviet style Communism. The whole scene is a tongue-in-cheek way of showing the many ways
that the ACLU and the far left are out of touch with the values of mainstream
America.”

The scene will also display a terrorist shepherd and an angel in the form of Nancy Pelosi.

“The ACLU and other left-wing extremist groups are working diligently to destroy American’s rights to the free expression of religion,” said Executive Director Joseph Wyly. “We’ve already seen in Chicago an attempt to censor the nativity by a city government this week. It’s just more evidence that there is a War on Christmas being waged by the far-left in this country.”

Why They Think They're Winning Part II

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

The abuse of this portion of our constitution has always facinated me. It kind of reminds me of the way some denominations are begining to interpet the word of God to say that the homosexual lifestyle is accepted by God. Now to my knowledge, and mind you I am a relative babe in terms of age and history, Congress has never, ever, made an attempt to make a law respecting an establishment of religon, nor have they ever to my knowledge attempted to make a law prohibiting the free exersise thereof. Yet we still have dozens of cases in which portions of our society claim that the constitution has been infringed apon by religion?? Those two statements are pretty simple in fact to understand if one attempts to do so without consulting the many supreme court cases on record debating it. #1. It was written in English, #2. There are no controversies over the English meaning of any of the words in that sentence, and finally, #3. If we become confused somehow, we have historical context to guide us. Let's take it a word at a time then shall we?

We'll skip over the easy stuff first. I think we can agree on what Congress is, so next lets take the phrase "shall make no". That simply means they "will not make any". Next we have the word law, I have included the wikipedia definition for your benefit as it is much more thourough than I could ever be in explaining.

Ah! Now on to the meaty stuff... First the word "respecting". In the context of this sentence it means "regarding" or "with respect to". Which essentially means "promoting" I think. Then we have "an Establishment" (See Established Church) and (State Religons). Also I would like to take the most broad definition of the word "Establish" and break it down. Now there are probably two possible ways you could look at it. #1 would be the way jefferson and the authors of our constitution meant it, and #2 the way our liberal brothers in the US choose to look at it. Only one is correct and very simply so if you examine it in the context of history and are not biased. the first is "To make a state institution of" and the second is " To cause to be recognized and accepted". I will trust that you have now read the two links I provided above and can see that there is no way any rational person could conclude that our founders meant anything remotely resembling the second definition based on again, both the history of our government and the context of the time. The last word is Religion, which I have also provided the wikipedia definition to for you benefit. In a nut shell though, an organized form or worship.

Even if you could make the leap and ignore all evidence to the contrary, you are still faced with that nasty little bit about "Congress making any law". To my knowledge congress never made a law that demanded a Christian prayer by a graduating student, or a law demanding that a nativity be placed on the steps of a city hall, or a law stating that a large cross be placed in the mojave desert to promote Christianity. Calling things like these government sponsorship of religon is like calling a Big Mac a Stick of Celery. Its really that ridiculous.

Now why do I bring this up as a part of my post? Simple, because this argument especially is at the heart of our perceived weakness as a country in the eyes of our enemies. They see it with uncolored eyes, they see the sad truth of it that so many of us don't. Put simply they can see through the agendizing and political correctness that promotes ideas like the liberal definition of a seperation of church and state. Don't get me wrong, I mean, the lawyers who came up with this argument knew it was a thin at best, false at worst argument also, but in order to promote it they had to convince people it was true. So what we have now is half our country who are ignorrant of both church history and American history who actually buy that load of dung. So why, you ask, does that make us look weak? Well, to answer that you have to look at the Islamic culture, God is the center of every family and religion is not just a thing you do on Sundays if your favorite football team isn't playing between the hours of 8:00-10:00am. I don't mean forced religon, nobody has to force these people. They have a respect and a reverence for their God that encompasses the entire family and their entire lives. So when they see us and our simpering, quibbling and infighting over such vital issue, that of reverence for God at its core, of course they percieve it as weakness.

I have not even mentioned State sponsored abortions or our debate over the very existence of God. But these too cause us to appear weak. I know some of you are saying that these things are our strengths. The fact that we have dissent, etc... and you would be correct if not for the level to which we have let these arguments rise. Having differing opinions and ideas is what makes our country great, yes! But we have forgotten who made the laws in the first place. We have forgotten by whose grace we even exist. We have "exchanged the truth of God for a lie" and now worship and serve created things rather than the Creator. Have we actually been weakened to some degree by this, I for one think so and do we appear weak to our enemies? Yes! You can bet we do.

_________________________________________
Lets jump in the way back machine for a moment shall we and visit the US in in the 1940's. Roosevelt was President, Swing music was king, Patriotism was at an all time high and God, well... He was a given. Christianity and Christian values were so much a part of our society that even people who were not professing believers acted and lived in a manner that emulated our risen King. We had ideals that were worth dying for and I don't just mean one man for another although that did happen. I mean ideals that saw hundreds of thousands of our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters fight and die to preserve them and still more charging forward to join the fight and stay until it was won. The separation of church and state as we have come to know it today would have been scoffed at and berated by society at large. Why? Because people in that time period understood the difference between right and wrong, between Shiot and Shinola. If you'd have tried to sell a man our 2006 white is black and black is white philosophy back then you'd have likely gotten a strange look at least and at worst a square punch in the mouth.

Why do I bring this up? One simple reason... The Islamic countries/groups we are fighting, particularly Iran, are united by a similar faith ideal to the one that gave us the stomach to fight, stay in, and eventually win World War II. They agree and believe corporately that theirs is a cause worth dying for and die they will until they are either broken or victorious.

Our corporate identity has decayed severely over the last few decades. Somewhere along the line we forgot the ideals that made our country great, allowed us to survive and ultimately thrive. We have traded Gods ideals for our own. We have fooled ourselves into believing that we are governed by man's law and not God's, we have put what "feels" right, over what IS right and forgotten the principles this country was founded upon. Or at the very least we've forgotten the definition of those principles. Is it any wonder then why a slime toad like Ahmadinejad is confidently boasting of our impending doom? Any wonder why leaders like him feel empowered? They look at our petty squabbles over removing crosses from hillsides for fear of offending people, timetables in Iraq, wire taps, O.J. Simpson, Rosie O'Donnell, Alec Baldwin and watch as our country chooses a woman like Nancy Pelosi to head the most influential branch of our Government. No wonder they believe we are weak!! They manipulate our media as deftly as a master puppeteer because they know that we as a country have temporarily lost our spine, our convictions, our will to remain on top. Our leaders sit by while a scumbag like Hugo Chavez flies to our country, stands up in the middle of downtown Manhattan and calls our President the Devil. THEY ARE LAUGHING AT US, and frankly I would be too if it were not so serious a situation. I sit night by night and listen to pundits argue over what our next move should be in combating terrorism. But what nobody has the stones to say is that we, not any terror group are at present our own worst enemy, Period. I mean for them its really simple, all they have to do is sit back and wait for us to implode, to spiritually, mentally, and doctrinally run ourselves into the ground. If you watch closely that is what they are doing. They don't need to be stronger, or have a more powerful army or have larger missiles. They have read our mail America, they have our number. Before we can fight them we have to re-learn how not to fight one another.

How Imams Terrorized An Airliner

This post is a follow up to my earlier one about the 6 Imams who were rightly deplaned and questioned after passengers on a US Air flight became concerned for their safety. My initial contention was that it was completely reasonable to have detained them and forced them to leave the plane. See my Earlier post HERE. But after hearing this new information I am shocked there is any argument over this at all.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I thought I would jump the gun a bit and post a little Thanksgiving History for you. Its not all the rosie story you heard in Sunday school but I am sure it is a bit more accurate historically. And for your blogiferous pleasures here are a few not so warm and fuzzy Thanksgiving post I've compiled from some of my favorite Blogs:

Oakland Teenager Thiago Olson Creates Nuclear Fusion In His Basement

I was amazed as I read this article. This kid is brilliant, I thought... But then it occurred to me that if he can make a device like this from "buying items on eBay and using his age to persuade manufacturers to give him discounts." Then how hard would it be for a terrorist to do the same? Granted it would require the knowledge to begin with and a truckload of guts. But seeing as we are educating pretty much anyone who wants a student visa these days at our more prominent universities, and given the determination of one driven by a zealous, if not completely misguided faith, it does not seem that far fetched to think it could happen.

It seems only a matter of time unfortunately. Though hopefully if we remain vigilant and do not compound the problem by allowing things like this, maybe one of the young men we turn out on our side will be the one who stops Abu Hamza Jr. when the time comes.

Great Cartoon (sorry couldn't wait til Friday)

This picture goes directly to my point in this earlier post

A Wise Man Once Said

If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck... there's a pretty good chance it's a duck. This comes to mind as I read about Six Muslim Imams being detained on a flight outbound from Minnesota after passengers expressed concern over the Muslim men engaging in their ritual of evening prayers while on board the aircraft.

The men themselves were outraged, of course CAIR is outraged, and I wouldn't be surprised if we get Muslims burning airline executives in effigy, blah, blah, blah!

The real issue here is, was there an irrational fear of Muslims at work here? Answer... YES! Of course most normal Americans have some irrational fear of Muslims, why shouldn't they? Is it sad that these men can't pray on a plane before take off without being harassed? Of course! But it is not an outrage by any means. It is absolutely understandable given the acts perpetrated by fellow Muslims in our country and around the world that people would be afraid of ANYONE appearing to pray to Allah and dressed in Muslim clothing on board an airliner. I am sorry but what is that saying about the sins of the father? Same principle here, you (Muslims) are paying the price for the extremist idiots, period. Is it fair, probably not, is it right, nope. But it is justified and until there are prominent voices, loud voices, condemning radical Islam as apostate instead of rioting and destroying people's and property over a couple of questionable cartoons, the fear will remain and rightly so. It makes me feel safer to know that an Airline would take 6 men off a flight because they may or my not have been acting in a strange manner. It makes me feel safer still to know that they were Muslims and they WERE profiled as such in this case.

My advice to CAIR and organizations like it, or any Muslim who was offended by this, is to spend the energy you are wasting on being outraged about it on being outraged at your own brothers in faith who fuel this fear, who propagate the lies and hate that led to 9/11, who have no regard for human life or your peaceful way of life in the least. Then maybe we can talk!

that is the phrase that won Democrats the election in 06. But one only need look at their first two moves in appointing leadership to see that this slogan was just so much whitewash to get them in a position to...

#1 Pull our troops out of Iraq
#2 Raise our taxes
#3 Impeach our President
#4 Legalize Gay Marriage
#5 Weaken Our Borders

Kucinich Calls for Cutting Off Iraq War Funds

"That’s the only way we’re going to end this war."

Nov 15, 2006

Congressman Kucinich called Wednesday for cutting off funding of the Iraq war, as the surest way out of Iraq. His statements were made in an interview by Democracy Now!'s Amy Goodman.

"I want to say that there's one solution here, and it's not to engage in a debate with the President, who has taken us down a path of disaster in Iraq, but it's for Congress to assume the full power that it has under the Constitution to cut off funds. We don't need to keep indulging in this debate about what to do, because as long as we keep temporizing, the situation gets worse in Iraq.

Democrats Winning Was A Good Thing Right??

The terrorists thought so! Just ask them.

From Breitbart:

Al-Qaida in Iraq claimed in a new audio tape Friday to be winning the war faster than expected in Iraq and said it had mobilized 12,000 fighters who had "vowed to die for God's sake."

On the audio tape made available on militant Web sites, the al-Qaida in Iraq leader also welcomed the Republican electoral defeat that led to the departure of Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld. He added that the group's fighters would not rest until they had blown up the White House. -------

When your enemies are happy about something you've done. You done screwed up America!

BTW - some guy named "Anonymous" just commented:

"Last I heard terrorists didn't like genital warts. If I also don't like genital warts, does that make me a terrorist? "

The answer is firstly that I think Ted Kennedy does like genital warts, but even so... The fact that they think its a good thing, that America is now on the "right path", should scare the crap out of anyone who was alive on 9/11. Does this story mean democrats are terrorists? No. But it does mean terrorists prefer democrats to republicans. Why? I'll give you one guess

Hugo Is! Hugo IS! Odd amid all the liberal gloating over the tuesday democratic victory that our enemies are celebrating. Well actually not...Why? Because they know the democrats!

From STACLU: ...and our enemies are cheering

The only thing that could be better would be if Zawahiri or Bin Laden were to come out now and congratulate Nancy while offering a hand of peace to America. That would be awesome! This alone should be a wake up call to the dems. Even if they don't believe they are weak on terror, guess what, everyone else does!! Including the terrorists =o)

Hell Week

Well, its starting to sink in, and I think I am even sort of glad it happened. What with the bang up job our congress did last term. I mean how much damage can Pelosi and friends do in 2 years? They wouldn't really try to impeach the president would they? Or, I am sure they wouldn't try to get us out of Iraq without finishing the work there would they? Wait, maybe I should re-think that... well, at any rate at least we are rid of Licoln Chaffe right?

I have compiled some "two days after" blogging for you to kind of get in the proper mood.

I Hate to Say I Told You So...

But I told you so! All Partisan quipping aside, we got our arses handed to us last night and we deserved to lose every one of those seats. Over the next two weeks you will hear a lot of people try to spin this loss to fit their own ideas but the bottom line is the American people sent Republicans to Washington to fight for their values and they just didn't. From same sex marriage, to immigration, to ethics reform and spending, earmarks, abortion, on all of the big issues conservatives care about, both the house and the senate fell well short on all counts. As I heard Ann Coulter say over and over again, they (republican congress) had the upper hand, they had the majority, and they were afraid to use it. Why? Likely for fear of not being re-elected...uh, yep... that worked out well huh? To be frank we had a bunch of luke warm conservatives in Washington this past term and the voters effectively spit them out. As God's word says, "I would rather you be hot or cold, but as it is you are luke warm and I am going to spit you out of my mouth." Or as another good old saying goes, "You can'ts pleases all da' peoples alla da' time, but you better please your base dummy". Or yet another saying that seems poinient today, "You can't serve two masters". Unfortunately, our republican majority tried to do just that.

You will hear Democrats screaming about this election being a referendum on Iraq. Well, it was, but that is not the story. The story is that by the republican congresses failure to accomplish anything of note, or give their base a rallying cry by at least clinging to the value that put them in office to begin with, "we" made Iraq the story of this election. We handed it to them on a silver platter. We had nothing to point to and say, "this is why you should put us back in office again". This was a sad election not only because we (republicans) have had to face some hard facts, but also because it was not about the issues. The democrats mantra was "a vote for change", and ours was, "ya' were lame, but at least were not Nancy Pelosi". What kind of platforms are those??

The news is not all bad, for those faithful of us in the conservative movement can take from this a referendum on our core values. That putting people in office just to have a butt in the chair with an R next to it, we will not except any longer. But as I heard Laura Ingraham say this morning, (I'm paraphrasing) we need strong, true, action oriented conservatives in office that would as soon lose as compromise their values to keep a seat. So, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move forward from here. Oh and do say a little prayer for our country while your at it, last night when I heard Nancy Pelosi's speech I half expected the frame to freeze and Rod Serling to come walking out with a cigarette and tell me I was in the Twilight Zone... dumdumdumdumdumdumdumdum Bah NAH NAAAAAAA, Babababababum.

Happy Election Day!

I want to remind everyone one more time, get out and vote. This is not a vote for republicans, its a vote to keep democrats from gaining the majority. We can fix our party on the back end but it is imperative that Liberals do not control the house and senate for the next two years. Fox News has good election coverage and a break down by your state.

As things stand now we are...

This Is Classic...

Absolute Moral Authority-athon...From Hot Air

Dems Prepare For Congressional Losses By...

Pre-Assuming Voter Fraud and Ballot indiscretions. Nancy Pelosi, the congresswoman the dems would likely nominate if they win for speaker of the house had this to say when asked about having an honest election:
"That is the only variable in this," Pelosi said. "Will we have an honest count?''

She is not alone this November as liveral organizations all over the country will have their members out in force to do everything from monitoring long lines, to making sure votes are counted properly.

Pelosi's comments are striking and again emphasize the Democrats belief that Republicans can't win without cheating. One has to wonder if Pelosi and her ilk would finally acknowledge conservative values rule in America if after this "concern" for a fair election, they still lost. Or at least did not pick up nearly enough seats in either house to justify their "referendum" on Bush and the Iraq War one liners of late. Ann Coulter said it well Here.

John Kerry: Bad Comedian...

Worse Politician. I won't rehash most of the things on every GOP favoring blog in the known universe about John Kerry's remarks. I will however take the time as anyone who enjoys seeing an idiot like Kerry get his should, to say "DOH!" What were you thinking John? 7 days before an election? This gives new meaning to the phrase "screwed the pooch". I mean I can see messing up a word or two here or there but good golly miss molly, he didn't even come close!

What Kerry said: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

What Kerry was supposed to say:
"Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."

I mean good gravy people, that kind of monologue screw up would make even Dave Letterman cringe. That is assuming it was a screw up and not a Freudian slip of some kind revealing what the senator really believes he was making a joke in the first place.
__________________________________________________________
Kerry Non-Apology direct to troops just as bad as original "joke"
Boy he just keeps shovelin' and the whole just keeps getin' deeper.

"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform and I personally apologize to any service member, family member or American who was offended."

His words were not mis-interpreted in the least. He may have said the wrong words but the ones we all heard him say require very little interpretation.

Happy Reformation Day...and Halloween too I guess

Yes folks how many of you (non-lutherans) new today was reformation day?? Not many right? Well, for all of you who are Protestant Christians today should hold a special place. Today is the day we celebrate liberation from the Catholic Church. Martin Luther on October 31 nailed his 95 thesis to the wall of the church and the rest is history. For those of you who are interested read the link below.

Life Without Barriers

Life without barriers; Soft, peaceful, free

The force that pushes back on our nature

To unhand life and its certainties

To try and conform them to our own ideas

Of How, When, What, Should, If, Where, etc…

Arrogance says we know better

Pride acts on the notion that we

Must put up barriers but not adhere

To boundaries to stay intact

Attempting to bend the unbending

Will of God we throw our bodies

And our intellect against it

Then blame Him when bad things

Happen to us and others.

Nothing novel about it really...

Would you stick your hand in a flame

Then blame God for making fire so hot?

2 Timothy 3:1-4

This story sickens me, but it also perks my ears up. It is not so much the act itself that has me saying again that it seems as if we are in the "last days", but the societal indifference and hyper-tolerance paid to our young people in an effort to "understand them" and not "stifle their creativity". It is the liberal "I'm OK, your OK", "What is Truth anyway", attitude that allows this kind of headlong slide to oblivion. The unwillingness to give a kid a good (loving) thwack in the head when they are being disrespectful, or spank them when they have done something wrong. Read for yourselves, understand the correlation and vote accordingly next week.

Godlessness in the Last Days
1But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—

Axis Of Evir

War Is inevitable

Well, we can all count on good ole' Diane Sawyer and the MSM sideshow to deliver consistent crap, that is for sure. Diane must have noticed North Korea got left out of Bashing our president and our country at the UN a few weeks ago and felt like they oughta' have their shot too before election day! I did not see the full interview, but it is equal in my mind or worse even to allowing Machmood and Hugo to diss our country and our president on the floor of the UN. Why? You might ask... Well, this interview may not have been the vitriol fest the UN was, but it was just as chock full-o-lies and false statements. I would love to here Sawyer's reason for doing this interview in the first place. It had everything a good MSM interview needs to be successful

1. Liberal news anchor - CHECK
2. Softball Questions - CHECK
3. Tyranical/Insane General and/or Third World Politician - TRIPLE CHECK
4. Niave National Audience - CHECK

To me just the idea that any self respecting journalist would entertain an A$$H*le like General Ri is unconscionable. That one would in addition, attempt either directly or indirectly to have him appear more "Human" is beyond forgiveness at a time like this in our nation. Now I am not saying I approve of the way we de-humanized German's and Japanese during world war II, or even the vietnamese during the late 60's. But interviews like this are dangerous because they do they opposite. That in and of itself would not be bad, but for the actual truth of the matter, which is that men like this, are inhuman beasts of war and strife not to mention self serving liars who wish nothing short of the destruction of our world as we now enjoy it. We have an election coming up, one side supports cowtowing to fascists like Machmood, Hugo and Il and the other doesn't. I don't know what your position is, but this nation just cannot afford to utter these words, "Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House of Representatives", come December. There is just too much at stake!
