John Kerry: Bad Comedian...

Worse Politician. I won't rehash most of the things on every GOP favoring blog in the known universe about John Kerry's remarks. I will however take the time as anyone who enjoys seeing an idiot like Kerry get his should, to say "DOH!" What were you thinking John? 7 days before an election? This gives new meaning to the phrase "screwed the pooch". I mean I can see messing up a word or two here or there but good golly miss molly, he didn't even come close!

What Kerry said: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

What Kerry was supposed to say:"Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq. Just ask President Bush."

I mean good gravy people, that kind of monologue screw up would make even Dave Letterman cringe. That is assuming it was a screw up and not a Freudian slip of some kind revealing what the senator really believes he was making a joke in the first place.

Kerry Non-Apology direct to troops just as bad as original "joke"
Boy he just keeps shovelin' and the whole just keeps getin' deeper.

"I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform and I personally apologize to any service member, family member or American who was offended."

His words were not mis-interpreted in the least. He may have said the wrong words but the ones we all heard him say require very little interpretation.
